Before his successful corporate and entrepreneurial career, Jim served in the US Army for ten years as a paratrooper and Special Forces commander, achieving the rank of Major and leading numerous operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. His commendable service includes leading multi-national security negotiations, advising Afghan Army and commando units, and training Afghan community defense forces. For his actions in combat, Jim was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor & Purple Heart Medal.
